2. Collection and storage of personal data, type and purpose of processing

If you engage us, we collect the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Personal email address
  • Address
  • Telephone number and/or mobile number
  • Information necessary for carrying out contractual relationship

This data is collected

  • to be able to identify you as our customer
  • to be able to advise you appropriately and carry out the contractual relationship
  • to correspond with you
  • for invoicing
  • to handle any liability claims and enforce any claims against you.

The data is processed at your request and is necessary in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the mentioned purposes to ensure the appropriate processing of your order and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations arising from the contractual relationship concluded with you.
The personal data we collect to perform the contract will be erased as soon as such is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, i.e. for the performance of the contract, unless we are obliged to store it for a longer period pursuant to Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR due to retention and documentation obligations under tax and/or commercial law (German Commercial Code (HGB) or German Fiscal Code (AO)), or you have consented to longer storage pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.


3. Data forwarding

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties, with the possible exception of internal group companies.
Data is only passed on to group companies if this is necessary to process the order.
Insofar as this is necessary to process the contractual relationship with you in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, your personal data will be passed on to third parties.


4. Rights of data subject

You have the following rights:

  • You can revoke the consent you once gave us at any time (Article 7 (3) GDPR). This means we may no longer continue the processing based on this consent going forward.
  • You have a right of access regarding your personal data processed by us (Article 15 GDPR). In particular, you have access to information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipient to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the envisaged storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on these details.
  • You may immediately request the rectification of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us (Article 16 GDPR).
  • You may request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 17 GDPR).
  • You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR (Article 18 GDPR).
  • You may receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or request that it be transferred to another controller (Article 20 GDPR).
  • You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work or our company headquarters for this purpose.

5. Objection and removal

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Article 21 GDPR, provided that there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation.
If your personal data is processed based on your consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
